I was 5 years old. I was in the car with my little baby sister sitting next to me and my mom and dad in the front. We were in a traffic jam and were not moving. Suddenly these huge guys with red laser guns came stalking thought the street. I ducked down and hide. For some reason no one else was panicking or even acknowledged the guys. They were pointing the laser through the cars, they were searching for something. I felt terror. I wanted to grab my sister to hide her. Suddenly the laser stopped at my car. My mom started to scream at my to get back into my seat, but if I did I would get shot by the guy. I didn’t know what to do, my mom was yelling at me to get back into my seat, but the dude was going to shot me. I listened to my mom and slowly started to get up and onto my seat. I was really scared. Right before the guy was going to shot, I woke up.
This dream may symbolize feelings of vulnerability and fear in your waking life. Being in a car with your family represents a sense of security and protection. However, the traffic jam and the presence of the menacing figures with laser guns suggest a situation where you feel trapped and unable to escape danger.
The fact that no one else in the car or on the road seems to acknowledge the looming threat could represent a feeling of isolation or being misunderstood in your waking life. It may also highlight a sense of powerlessness, as others do not share or acknowledge your fear.
The instinctive desire to protect your little sister demonstrates your nurturing and caring nature. You want to shield her from harm, even at the risk of endangering yourself.
Your mother's conflicting instructions to both hide and get back into your seat reflect a possible struggle between following your instincts and obeying authority figures in your life. This conflict may stem from a fear of punishment or a desire to please others, even when it conflicts with your own sense of safety.
Ultimately, the dream ends before the threat is fully realized, suggesting a heightened state of anxiety and unresolved tension. This dream could be a reflection of internal fears and conflicts, emphasizing a need to address and confront these feelings in your waking life in order to regain a sense of security and control.
